16" Garage Shelves: When & Why
The 16" shelves and racks are an ideal solution for garages with ceilings that are nine feet high or lower. These shelves are also an excellent solution for narrow garages and are less intrusive than the 24" shelf in areas with limited space. Because the 16" shelves are installed lower on the wall, there is more overhead space available for double stacking boxes and totes.
At the same height, the 16" garage shelves can be turned into 24" shelves by simply adding the Monkey Bars 8" extension to each of the brackets at the time of installation.
